    his is for one  used California/French oak wine/whiskey/bourbon staves with a bung for your arts and crafts. They work great for candle holders, cheese boards, paintings, wall hangers, and much more!
    These are genuine authentic oak barrel staves from California wine country or whiskey distelleries . Some barrels were made in France and others were made in USA.  The staves are unique in their own way and convey all the characteristics of a used whiskey/bourbon barrel including a slight charring on the inner surface of the stave.
    We have several on hand as the ones pictured are just some of the examples. Their sizes range from 3 1/2" to nearly 5" wide. Each stave is nearly 1" thick and approximately 34 to 38 inches long.This sale is priced for one stave, but we have several on hand. Also, bung hole staves naturally crack - because they are the weakest point of the barrel - so there might be cracks at the middle edge of the hole, but we will never sell you a broken stave.
