  • Condition: This is an antique loom for making bead work jewelry. The needle is rusted & the threads are discolored, please see picture # 3. The box is dusty & old & brittle. Copyright 1938. The 2 flaps shown were tucked inside the box & fell off as I opened them for the photos. The loom is old, dusty & the metal is pocked & discolored. It will need to be cleaned to use it. This sale includes only the loom with the box. The other items/parts of the set described on the box are not included.     ANTIQUE INDIAN BEAD WEAVING LOOM     c1938
    Features a metal & wooden loom for making seed bead jewelry.  You can create bracelets, rings, bracelets & necklaces.  The loom is still functional.  You will need to purchase thread to restring it, a new thin beading needle & seed beads for your projects. There are different sites online that share sources for beaded jewelry patterns & Native American design patterns.
    Great for the antique toy collector or old style Native American bead making!
    The box is old, dusty & very brittle.  The box end & one side tab broke off when I pulled them out for the photos. I have tried not to handle the box more than necessary because the box will be of interest for the antique toy collector.  I am listing this for "Local Pick-Up" because the box is brittle & I cannot be responsible & do not want problems if the box breaks cracks in the mail.
